I had a dream last night where instead of playing Fantasy Baseball, I was playing Fantasy Visiting Family for the Holidays. Points were accrued every time someone asked me when I was going to get married, or finish school, or get a real job, or how many glasses of wine I had, or if I really wanted to eat that second slice of cake.
I might be onto something here.
YAY!Funny People Opens Today!
I have a small role as Randy in the film and I’m very excited to be even a tiny part of it. Thanks to everyone for their support on Jason Woliner and I’s Randy documentary series. The series is done, but we’re editing together a longer version of the documentary for the Funny People DVD that will have a good chunk of unreleased stuff in it. Enjoy Funny People!
Already got my tickets for tonight, which makes “Funny People” the SECOND movie of the summer featuring Aziz that I saw on opening night (“I Love You, Man”)!! Weird.
I don’t know how I missed this one from back in May, but it’s hilarious.
THIS JUST IN:
“Hello All,
A casualty of the move: we have a missing lamp! It is a roughly 4-foot-tall black-and-chrome floor lamp with a 2-foot-wide horizontal circular metal shade on a swing arm. Can you let me know if this was accidentally placed in your office?
Thanks.”
The English Department upgraded to a fancy new building this summer, so we can expect many more “Hello All I’m Missing [blank] Piece of Ikea Furniture” emails in the near future.
In related news, summer is boring in a college town.
